چکیده
Semiconductor materials are the basis of electronic devices employed in communication and media industry. In present work, we report synthesis characterization mixed metal oxides (MOs) as p,n-junction photocatalysts, demonstrate correlation between preparation technique properties materials. Solid-state UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-VIS DRS) allowed for determination light absorption optical energy gap. X-ray photoelectron (XPS) surface speciation composition valence band edge. The opto-electronic behavior was evaluated measuring photocurrent generated after chopped visible a 3-electrode cell. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) measurements auxiliary size morphology, showing formation composites ternary Cu2O-In2O3 p,n-mixed oxide, even more quaternary Cu2O-In2O3-TiO2 MO. Light spectra photocurrent-time curves mainly depend upon MOs, while gap defective tail closely related to methodology, time thermal treatment. Qualitative structures semiconductors also presented.

متن کاملIn2O3/TiO2 nano photocatalysts for solar hydrogen production from methanol:water mixtures
In2O3/nano TiO2 and In2O3/TiO2 (P-25) photocatalysts with different In2O3 loadings have been prepared by solid state dispersion method. These catalysts are characterized by XRD, surface area, TEM, UV-vis DRS and XPS techniques. XRD analysis shows the fine dispersion of In2O3 on the surface of TiO2. The photocombinates of In2O3 prepared using the lab-made TiO2 are nano sized with an average size...
متن کاملCo-Synthesis and Characterization of In2O3 and ZnO Nanowires
Co-synthesis of In2O3 and ZnO nanowires (NWs) were grown on silicon and alumina substrates using vapour transport deposition method. Their morphological structures showed that the NWs were rather aligned on silicon substrate and randomly oriented on alumina substrate. The formation of NWs on silicon substrate was found to be dominated by the growth of ZnO NWs while that on alumina substrate was...
